Under the guidance of Pu PC. Lalduhthlanga, MPS, the then Superintendent of Police, Saitual District, Saitual DEF Traffic Cell was formed on 28.02.2020 under the control of Officer-in-charge, Saitual Police Station. Its first In-Charge is ASI Vanlalremmawia who is still spearheading the cell. There are 6(six) Police personnel including 1 (one) Assistant Sub-Inspector (In-charge), 1 (one) Head-Constable (Major) and 4 (four) Constable till date. On 2nd March 2020 necessary equipment for Traffic Cell was collected from PHQ, Aizawl and attend In-Service Training at PHQ, Aizawl.
On 5th March 2020 the Traffic Cell performed then lawful duty at Saitual Town area. There are 3 (three) Traffic points under Saitual Town and round duty was also performed regularly within Saitual Town area by Saitual DEF Traffic Cell. Traffic Cell also conducted Awareness Campaign to Saitual and Keifang Taxi and Auto Welfare Association, Saitual District.
